For a Charity fund-raiser: Venue
There are 11 people in the band so we need a good-sized venue with a stage and reasonable acoustics.
We are happy to advise but need your organisation to take responsibility for the main organisation of the event.
Charge
We have to charge for our professional sound engineer and for transporting the PA equipment. (around £225). We will need cash to pay this fee on the night.
We have played successfully at the Broomhall centre S10.
Millennium Hall, Ecclesall Road, S11,
Crookes Social Club, Mulehouse Rd, S10
Niagara Conference Centre, Niagara Road, S6.
St Mary’s Church, Bramall lane, S2
Broomhall Centre and ST Oswald have an option for you to apply for a Temporary bar licence if you want to sell alcohol
For a private party;
much the same except that we charge £500 for band and PA
And there are more venue possibilities.
Get In
It takes us an hour and half or two hours to set up and sound check so we need access to the venue preferably in the afternoon or as near to 4p.m as possible
